Nils Ahl

Nils Ahl (born in 1977) is a journalist, reader, and translator of Danish-French origin. He studied at the renowned Institutes of Political Studies (IEP Paris) and works since 2005 as a literary critic for Le Monde des livres. Nils Ahl is the editor of an anthology of Scandinavian tales (École des loisirs), he wrote several tales as well as a novel for children/young adults (published by École des loisirs). He also works as a translator, mainly of the books of Danish writer Bjarne Reuter. He is the coauthor of the first critical dictionary of TV-shows published in France (dictionnaire des séries – with Benjamin Fau, published by Philippe Rey in 2011) and he will be the head publisher for foreign fiction of Phébus starting this June.
He is one of the founding members of the Prix de l’inaperçu which rewards works that merit more/further attention.
