Literary walk in Kalamaja

They say that sitting down is the new smoking. Since literature is sadly connected to a sedentary lifestyle – although you can read standing up, lying down or even walking – any kind of literary activities that involve physical exertion are extremely welcome. Literary walks are perfect for moving your body and mind at the same time. We all know that it is good to take around 10.000 steps every day, which is roughly 8 kilometres. We can assume that registering for our literary walks (by emailing retk@headread.ee from 10 May) will ensure meeting that target or even exceeding it. You can take care of your mind and body this year in Kalamaja, Nõmme and Kadriorg. For the first time, enthusiasts can wander along the literary routes of Kalamaja – the walk is headed by writer Maarja Kangro and actress and producer Eva Koldits,

The assembly point in front of café Klaus (Kalasadama 8).

Registration begins on 10 May.

NB! All literary walks are in Estonian, unless specified otherwise.
