Bright Young Things

For the second time our festival will host a literary evening filled with young voices and their stories. A good festival should bring together various performers, both favourites of masses as well as peripheral avantgarde should have a say, both lyrical romantics as well as social critics, white men as well as dark-skinned women, living classics as well as the young who are preparing to take their first jumps into literature. Who knows, maybe some day in the future, the 2016 HeadRead festival will be remembered because it saw the first performances by Kristel Zimmer, Annaliina Sofia Aavik, Betti Marie Peterson, Charlie Chris Karniol, Joonas Koff, Jete-Ri Jõesaar and others, still unknown to everyone in those bygone times.

The event is in Estonian.
