Literary scholar Elle-Mari Talivee and poet Sirli Staub will take you on a literary pub crawl around various haunts in Tallinn. The walk is in Estonian only.

The Estonian title of the walk is borrowed from Mihkel Mut’s 2005 novel of the same name, the main character of which begins to map his favorite pubs by having a pint of beer in each of them.

In the course of the tour, we will mainly draw on literary history: we will find out which characters by which writers in which works have ended up in a tavern somewhere. However, as an appetiser, we will have a shot of pharmacy claret of pharmacist Melchior at the Town Hall Pharmacy. You need to be at least 18 to attend the tour, and the price of 5 euros includes a short visit to the Raeapteek and a taste of the claret.

Registration has closed for this year. The pub crawl is in Estonian.

The pub crawl starts in front of the Estonian Writers’ Union. The 5-euro fee must be paid in cash at the start of the tour.
